Children’s and Teen Section of PCHL Corfu

The Children’s Section operates on the ground floor in a reading room specially designed to meet the needs of children. Children under eight (8) years old must be accompanied for the entire duration of their stay in the Library.

The collection of the Children’s Section includes books (Illustrated, Knowledge, and Literature) in Greek, English, and French. All books are cataloged in the Library’s electronic catalog (OPAC).

The Public Central Historical Library of Corfu (PCHL) implements educational programs every year and organizes book exhibitions, pedagogical, recreational, and educational activities in its Children’s Section, in collaboration with authors, representatives of the local cultural scene, schools, institutions, etc.
