2026 marks a historic milestone: the 250th anniversary of the signing of the United States Declaration of Independence. This anniversary offers a unique opportunity to delve into American history, the values that established modern democracy, and the achievements that have shaped our world.
As part of this celebration, we invite you to participate in an innovative educational program designed for elementary (grades 4–6), middle, and high school students. Through a creative comics workshop, students will have the chance to explore significant historical figures of the American Independence, as well as personalities and achievements of the past 250 years in the fields of diplomacy, education, science, technology, and culture.
The program emphasizes creative expression and collaboration. Participants will become familiar with storytelling techniques through comics and will create their own stories. Their works will be compiled into a digital publication, serving as a permanent record of educational exchange and as valuable material for future programs.
We are addressing educators who are interested in innovative teaching methods and wish to engage their students in creative learning programs.
Participation is free for all educators and students, and the program will take place on Wednesday, 12/11/2025.
For more information and to register, please contact the program coordinators: Marios Magioladitis, tel. +30 26610 38583.
